The Offer Part Deux

An update to my previous post. We have not put an offer in on the house with the crazy range. It's a short sale and perhaps more trouble that it may be worth. BUT!!! there is an agent that is doing a little digging for us that may bring information to the table that will change our minds... we'll see I guess.

House hunting in South Orange County (particularly beach communities) is tres-hard. There is not a lot out there that isn't a short sale and is in our price range. Luckily, both Bryan and I are very open to (In fact we prefer) a bit of a fixer-upper so that we can truly customize everything to our liking.

There is a houes in San Clemente that is an equity sale with great potential... Fingers crossed again, please!

The Offer

We went to see the aforementioned range house on Wednesday. And dispite numerous warnings from many people to not get attached, we fell. in. love. Yesterday (Thursday) we did some digging and found out someone else has put an offer in on this house!!! So today (Friday) we too are putting an offer in on the house! (Hooray!)  Cross your fingers, toes and eyes... because we're going to need all of the luck we can get.

World, I WANT this house! Oh, and the range in the house is not a Viking... It's a $10,000.00 Five Star 60"... Um... Did I say I love this house?!?!?!

House Hunters

Internet: we are house hunting! and the most important thing for me is a fabulous kitchen with ample storage, counter space and one of these babies:

A 60" Viking Range.

Luckily, there is a particular house currently on the market that already has one! We'd be stupid not to buy it right?!?!
